This holiday is always celebrated February 27th.
The Polar Bear is the world’s largest carnivore. They can grow up to 9 feet tall (when standing) and 1,400 pounds.
Polar Bears live at the North Pole region, and are native to Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Norway, and Russia.
At zoos around the country, they are always a favorite.
Celebrate this day by visiting a local zoo or check out the nature channels on TV.
One fun fact – it is believed that all polar bears are left handed!!
