According to Maryland REALTORS, Maryland Home prices made significant gains in January. This starts 2019 off on a positive note. Average home prices rose by 5.1% while median prices rose by 5.0 percent. Available inventory also increased in January, but there was a 16.8% decrease of units sold. The January statewide median sales price saw a 5.0% increase. Pending units decreased to 6,521 from 6,533 compared to the same time in 2018. The Average Sales Price in January increased slightly to 95.4% from 95.1% from 2018 to 2019.
